I am 31 years old and have been married since 2001 to Jared, a marketing guru who calls me “Sugarhips.” We text each other about a dozen times a day.
We have two sweet boys who us laugh daily: Judah, born in January of 2008, and Damen, born in October of 2010. We are also the proud owners of Murphy Dogg, an obsessive-compulsive mutt of indeterminate breed.
I am the editorial director of fiction for a small publishing company. This fabulous job allows me to combine my loves of literature and editing, all while working at the world’s best office [my living room], which has some incredibly comfortable office furniture [my sofa] and very pleasant co-workers [Judah, Damen, and Murphy].
We live in beautiful Charlotte, North Carolina and are only a little bit ashamed of living in the ‘burbs. My sister and her family live across the street, and my brother-in-law and his family live just up the road. We have cousins and nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles all living within ten miles. Our social calendar is always busy. We love it.
