This and That

Cute outfit from his grandparents

I’m posting this from the Internet cafe in our building, since the connection in our apartment is off again/on again. But mostly off. Which makes working from home such a joy!

I’m not in a good enough mood to do lots of writing. This week has been okay. I’ve been stuck inside because the weather has been rainy and foggy, so I’ve been mostly working and watching TV. We’ve gotten together with Barry and Alyssa (Jared’s brother and sister-in-law) twice, and those were the highlights of our week. I miss our friends in Arkansas and my family in Dallas. Boo hoo.

On a happier note, Judah is a doll these days (as you can tell from the above picture). He’s always smiling, sqealing, and ‘talking.’ He rolled over (tummy to back) for the first time this week, and now he does it like an old pro. He’s been such a trooper, letting us stroll him around everywhere without much of a fuss. Thank goodness for an easy baby, especially with the way my life is going recently! Click on Judah’s cute mug if you want to see pictures of our apartment, etc. Enjoy!

WOW – what nice floor to ceiling windows in your apartment – I don’t think I would ever get tired of that view!

I love the view and the cute apartment but I bet you’ll feel better once you have all your own stuff up there and can start to feel “at home.” Judah is SO cute and looks so much like you as a baby!!

Jackson is sitting in my lap while I look at blogs – and he laughed and smiled when Judah’s picture came up. See: instant friends!

I’m sorry you’ve had a rough week. We can’t wait to come and visit you! (I’ll e-mail you about dates…it’ll be soon, we think!) The apartment is fabulous and those windows are AMAZING! We can’t wait to see Chicago in warm weather!

Judah is just as precious as can be. I love his big smile! What a handsome little boy!

What a beauiful baby! and, with all the moving and tosing around, too. It hasn’t dampened his spirit. The only thing that would be worse than moving to Chicago with one child would be moving with two or more. It’s not easy whatsoever. We loved getting to see you and spend the evening with you both. Juday is such little prince. and sucha GOOD baby. I know you will love Chicago once you get settled into a neighborhood.

call me today if you’re not too busy!

It looks like Murphy is proud of the apartment in that one picture. I’m sorry you are having a rough week. Being in a new place all of a sudden would be so scary to me. How does Jared like his job?

First of all, I can’t believe how big Judah’s getting! He’s lost that ‘fragile little baby’ look and now looks more like a ‘bouncing baby boy’!

Second, NOT TOO SHABBY! Absolutely not what I had in mind when you said ‘Temporary Housing’ LOVE the view! Hopefully you’ve had some good weather these past couple of days, if not, maybe tomorrow you’ll get some of the nice weather we’re having now.

    HAPPY ANNIVERSARY you two.
Go eat some Giordino’s pizza for us.

    (did I spell it right?)

  9. Beverly Says:

Ditto what mn rachel said about the temp housing. That doesn’t look too bad at all. Of course it’s nothing like your own home.
